Synopsis: The offering is to train a group or an individual in the use of a mental model for group learning-and-development. The session outlines 4 evidence-based balance tools that help to integrate individuals into a well-functioning group based on common ground: purpose, norms, goals, and meaning. Participants will be able to apply the tools to improve group formation, goal planning, execution, and learning-integration. ICBCI tunes awareness to how balance tools for the group are negotiated, and how they get expressed. Additionally, participants will be able to engage in self-guided training post-experience to progress and resolve the socio-emotional struggles of groups and individuals they work with.
Pre-Recorded Experience: An explanation of the theory with examples. How to apply the theory in one’s own work. Prompts and activities to integrate the ideas.
Live: 3 options —
a workshop applying the model to a specific problem or idea with assistance;
a micro-sessions practice group facilitation workshop;
a live version of the prerecording; replete with Q&A, discussion, and personalized guidance.
