In each session, we will learn about inspiring and often unsung Jewish Heroes from the diverse communities that make up the Jewish People through online scavenger hunts, virtual escape rooms, and junior detective challenges. Meet heroes like Yerus, a young girl from Ethiopia who tells the story of her harrowing journey to Israel with her entire Jewish community. Or Abraham Joshua Heschel, a Jewish-American hero who marched with Martin Luther King, seeking justice and truth for his country as a leader of his community. Or Meir Knafo, who, as a young underground organizer led the Moroccan Jewish community to Israel against all odds. Our facilitators are experienced youth educators who have spent years working with Jewish youth from all over the world.
