Musical Kabbalat Shabbat

BINA’s Musical Kabbalat Shabbat allows us to come together for a reflection on the week that passed and the one drawing near, in a pluralistic and uplifting experience that welcomes everyone. The experience combines an open and contemporary reading of the week’s Torah portion with Israeli melodies, a discussion on Jewish values with a new take on the blessings, discussion followed by a short text study with song- and all in a fun, communal atmosphere with a taste of Israel. Our Kabbalat Shabbat is led by both a musician (accompanied by a guitar) and a singer/facilitator.
