Join Moving Traditions for “Voting with a Feminist Lens,” a workshop series to educate soon-to-be voters and newly registered voters on the importance of not only voting but also making their votes meaningful.
Over the course of three hour-long sessions, we cover the importance of voting (with emphasis on the history of the women’s suffrage movement); the logistics of voting and voter registration; how women’s rights relate to social, political and economic issues; and choosing a candidate that represents your values.
The sessions will be offered virtually over three Thursdays (October 8, 15, and 22) from 7:00-8:00 p.m. EST. We welcome teens of all genders to join, learn and be inspired.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the Union for Reform Judaism and United Synagogue Youth.
