This curricula aims to introduce Polish Jewry in the interwar period. Through their dreams, politics, religion, education, youth-movements, sports and leisure, the multiplicity and richness of Polish Jewish life is revealed. Stereotypes and preconceived notions are challenged as participants learn through photos, and primary documents all about the life that was. The session can either be run by Yad Vashem’s educational staff or the summer camp’s staff, after a training led by Yad Vashem’s staff. The training will teach the summer camp staff how to use the workshop and how to create a meaningful discussion based on it.
