What an amazing body of work! Never have I come across the whole of the Shabbat prayers, sang and presented all in one place. The words are pronounced clearly in a genuine Israeli accent, modern and effortlessly comprehensible. The tunes, some old some new, are creative in production, and the familiar as are the original ones, a true delight! The original music inspired by Rabbi Karlibach’s spirit and melodies, is a joy to listen to and pleasantly inviting to join in. A true first in contemporary era and format, this is a cornerstone-moment in bringing Jewish communities back together, drawing closer to our shared common heritage, in a delightful and fun way. It’s pure joy from beginning to end. Who knew the Shabbat prayers could be so beautiful and inspirational. A big bravo to Mr Collis for a great achievement. Even my children are loving it. I recently saw a clip online of an African Jewish community singing along to one of the songs from this Globally availiable Landmark triple Album/Prayer book and the true magnitude of We Sing-We Stay Together hit home. A major part of our shabbat tradition & living culture is now accessible to the disenfranchised many worldwide (from Aberdeen thru Accra , Asia, The Americas & Australasia ) that are seeking to uplift themselves, offspring and communities by uniting and bonding through these lovingly presented heavenly prayers and melodies!
